Server Archeticture
The servers are housed in secure rack enclosures that are provided with clean power and efficient cooling. Each rack resides within the highly secure operations center. Protected from unauthorized access with several instances of key cards and biometric hand scanners.
The Physical Servers
We only utilize commercial grade high performance servers designed from the outset to be servers. All components are server grade for performance and extended reliability. Components in these systems that are relied upon for data are redundant while all components are backed up with ready stores of replacement supplies. Database functions are on Redundant Multiple-SCSI cluster systems that are utilized for data storage and recovery if ever required. Redundant and hot swapable systems help insure that the server remains online.There currently is a mix of multiple processor Intel XEON and AMD Opteron based servers. All new and all replacement servers are currently DELL AMD Opteron units. These servers have proven to be superior in performance for web based operations.
